In the year 2000 Michelle Danner and Larry Moss founded Edgemar Center for the Arts, a two theater and art gallery complex. The Larry Moss Studio has been housed at Edgemar since the cutting of the ribbon in 2002 and now houses The Michelle Danner Studio. Staffed by a diverse faculty of many teachers with Michele Danner at the helm, The mission of the studio is to provide a creative home to a community of passionate actors. Our Los Angeles Acting School “The Golden Box” fosters a generation of actors that are taught acting for the 21st century. Our approach to the craft of acting encompasses and embraces the philosophies from Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagen, and Michael Chekhov to the Stanislavsky method.
Larry Moss has since moved on to New York, but Michelle Danner carries on the schools original technique and mission to provide a creative home to a community of passionate actors.
Our Los Angeles Acting School specializes in the following techniques of acting, Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, Michael Chekhov, & the Stanislavsky Technique.
