Larry Moss Studio

The studio provides actors with a place to grow artistically and create riveting, unique characters that tell stories illuminating the human condition.  Students work on challenging writing ranging from classics to contemporary, well known authors to new original scripts.  We support the process of developing one's original work and believe strongly that every actor has an important personal story to tell.

In the year 2000 Larry Moss and Michelle Danner founded Edgemar Center for the Arts, a two theatre and art gallery complex.  The Larry Moss Studio has been housed at Edgemar since the cutting of the ribbon in 2002 and has flourished and grown into what is now the Acting Studio at Edgemar.

The Acting Studio at Edgemar is the heart and the foundation of Edgemar Center for the Arts that gives birth to professional and classical theater productions, dance performances, visual arts and films festivals that collaborate with independent, experimental, and student works in various stages of development.

LAST SCENE STANDING uses the power of the internet to present scenes to the industry, thus allowing actors take their careers to the next level. It’s a unique, interactive, online experience that provides another way for the industry (agents, managers, casting directors, and producers) to find new talent to represent or cast.

Scene Bites is a multi-media evening of theatre where students perform their best scenes from class for agents, managers, directors, casting directors, and other entertainment professionals. It's directed by Michelle Danner, and showcases the students both on-camera and off.  Every show is followed by a catered reception that includes a martini bar and caviar.
