In the year 2000 Michelle Danner and Larry Moss founded Edgemar Center for the Arts, a two theater and art gallery complex. The Larry Moss Studio has been housed at Edgemar since the cutting of the ribbon in 2002 and now houses The Michelle Danner Studio. Staffed by a diverse faculty of many teachers with Michele Danner at the helm, The mission of the studio is to provide a creative home to a community of passionate actors. Our Los Angeles Acting School “The Golden Box” fosters a generation of actors that are taught acting for the 21st century. Our approach to the craft of acting encompasses and embraces the philosophies from Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagen, and Michael Chekhov to the Stanislavsky method.

 In 2006 she made her feature film-directing debut How to go Out on a Date in Queens which was nominated and won four LA Film Awards including Best Director. It starred Jason Alexander, Esai Morales, Ron Perlman, Kimberly Williams, Rob Estes, and Alison Eastwood. It was theatrically released in 2006. It aired nationwide on the Sunday Night Movie of the Week on Memorial Day weekend 2008.

Through her production company, All in Films, she directed and produced her second feature film “Hello Herman” starring Norman Reedus (AMC’s “The Walking Dead”).
